Afsaneh Khajavi
Children & Women’s Rights Advocate
A longtime advocate since high school, Afsaneh co-founded a women’s organization and newsletter before the Iranian revolution. She now works at AT&T Labs as a senior network architect.
Elaheh Amani
Peace, Gender & Human Rights Activist
Elahe has been with WIN since 1995 and leads Global Circles. She’s a mediation trainer and serves as Director of Technology & Deputy Title IX Coordinator at CSU Fullerton.
Negar Vaezzadeh
Researcher & Women’s Empowerment Advocate
Negar holds degrees in linguistics and sociology. She volunteers with NGOs and has researched domestic violence and refugee issues, focusing on women and children.
Ruja Kia
Social Justice Advocate
With degrees in animation, gender studies, and nonprofit leadership, Ruja supports community building and equal access to resources within the Iranian diaspora.
Shahla Sepehr Bibi
Artist & Feminist Organizer
Shahla co-founded “The Society of Independent Women” and is active in feminist radio and photography. Her award-winning work has been exhibited internationally.
